PEO York Chapter - AMD Geocache Event

Cost: $5.00 + 1.32 Fee for Students/Participants and Free for Volunteers
Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) York Chapter is teaming up with AMD to deliver a fun, new and exciting event on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the Markham Museum’s Transportation Hall!
Students grades six to 12 are welcome to sign up to compete in a GPS scavenger hunt. In teams, students will work together using GPS technology to solve engineering puzzles and compete for fun prizes. Pizza lunch included!
Each participant must bring their own electronic device with the what3words app downloaded. The device can be a cell phone, iPad, etc. The device must have Wi-Fi access, ability to download and use the what3words app. Participants are encouraged to test the app usage out at home prior to the event.
