PEO York Chapter is proud to re-offer this Job Interview Webinar for engineering grads and engineers looking for an exciting new role. It was originally presented in October 2020 to those who lost their jobs due to COVID-19. The pandemic experience has taught us to be more demanding about what is important to us in a working environment, so we need to learn not only how to answer questions and sell ourselves, but also how to ask questions of potential employers. This webinar will provide some guidance on how to perform well in a job interview. This will be a participative session where individuals will join breakout rooms and practice handling behavioral-based interviewing questions to present themselves in a compelling manner. Due to popular demand, we plan on hosting another session for our members
Mini sub-plots of this 2 hours workshop include:
• How to look for a job during these (hopefully) Post Virus Times
• How to succeed at virtual as well as in-person interviewing
• Putting yourself in the interviewer’s position
• Avoiding the Deal Breakers
• Passing the First Impression test
• What to expect from a phone screen
• Showcasing your talents
• Qualities your responses should display
• Answering Behavioral Based Questions
• Creating your own Questions
• Following up
• Practice-Practice-Practice
• And....when you get the offer......
