2022 National Engineering Month

PEO York Chapter Virtual Engineering Competition

Students from Grades 8 - 12 will be presented with a real-life engineering problem. Teams must design a

detailed solution to a large-scale engineering problem. The teams will then pitch the solution to the client (judges).

Students will form teams of 4 to research ideas, generate deliverables, and prepare their presentation over 3 weeks. Each team is required to register (one registration per team with all names in registration). To maximize the number of schools attending within the limited spots, currently we are allowing a maximum of one team per school per competition level.

The Virtual Engineering Competition is jointly hosted by National Engineering Month and PEO York Chapter.

Competition Overview

Date: February 28 – March 27th, 2022

Location: Virtual / Zoom

Levels:

Junior: Grade 8 – 10, Senior: Grade 11 - 12

Prize: $100 gift card for each member in the top three for each level, sent to the email associated with the ticket
