2019 Engineering Entrance Scholarship
PEO York Chapter was proud to recognize the academic and extracurricular activities of three students entering the first year engineering program at a Canadian university this year. Education Committee reviewed 35 applications to select the three candidates, each scholarship recipient was awarded $1500 towards their education expenses in 2019. The scholarship recipients received their scholarships and delivered a speech at the Fall Licence Certificate Presentation Ceremony on Sept. 21, 2019 at Toronto Marriott Markham. The three scholarship recipients are:

PEO York Chapter is offering a University Engineering Entrance Scholarship valued at $1500 this year.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the student's community contributions, intra and extracurricular activities and their intention to pursue a career as a Professional Engineer. To qualify for this award, the student must graduate with honours standing from a secondary school in York Region and be enrolled in an accredited engineering program at a Canadian university for the 2020-2021 academic year.
